Privacy Policy & POPIA Notice

1. Protection of Junior Athlete Information (POPIA Compliance)

Brett Academy is committed to protecting the privacy of our junior athletes (ages 5–13) and their legal guardians in accordance with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). All registrations and account management must be completed by a parent or legal guardian.

2. Video Diagnostic Media Storage

Videos uploaded for baseline technical evaluation and progress verification are strictly used for sports coaching, biomechanical feedback, and CSA LTAD benchmarking by certified academy coaching personnel. Videos are stored securely in encrypted private Cloudflare R2 object storage with temporary, signed access tokens and are never sold or made public without explicit parental consent.

3. Payment Security

All commercial transactions are processed through Stripe Checkout under PCI-DSS Level 1 certification. Brett Academy does not store full credit card numbers or banking credentials on its servers.
